Tung is VAIC’s Chief Executive, responsible for all the successes of VAIC as well as keeping the house from falling. He is also working at the Center for Research for Security Prices (CRSP) at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, specializing in U.S. Stock database. Prior to joining CRSP, Tung was a Financial Analyst at the University’s Financial Services department, and held various internship roles across 3 different areas: Investment banking, Real Estate and Wealth Management. Tung is a member of SEO-Vietnam, where he served as the organization’s Alumni Director until April 2015.
Tung is an avid runner and an ardent soccer fan. Currently residing in Chicago, Tung has a unyielding love for the Blackhawks hockey team. As a free spirited, highly energetic and inquisitive person, Tung will never let you get bored if you were to sit next to him on a train or an airplane.
Tung graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he earned a B.A. degree in Economics & Finance, with a minor in Math. He also hold two certificates from University of Chicago: Financial Decision Making and Business Analytics.
